DL-α-Tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E), the collective name for tocopherols and tocotrienols, is a fat-soluble vitamin. It is an important component of cell membranes and a major antioxidant in cell membranes.
DL-α-Tocopheryl acetate is widely present in plant and animal foods.
