What is Carcinine Dihydrochloride Powder?   

Carcinine Dihydrochloride is an imidazole dipeptide composed of β-alanine and L-histamine, with CAS number 57022-38-5 and molecular formula C8H14N4O·2HCl. First discovered in crustaceans in 1975, it was later detected in the heart of mammals. Its structure is similar to carnosine, exhibiting antioxidant and anti-glycation functions as well as higher stability. Its transdermal permeability and hydrolytic stability are superior to carnosine. Decarboxycarnosine protects cell membranes by scavenging free radicals and inhibiting lipid oxidation, and targets and inhibits the glycosylation of structural proteins to maintain collagen elasticity.

Feature

Highly Effective Anti-Glycation and Protein Protection: Decarboxylated carnosine hydrochloride preemptively binds to reducing sugars to form harmless adducts, preventing them from attacking structural proteins such as collagen and forming irreversible advanced glycation end products (AGEs).
