L-Aspartic acid is a natural amino acid compound, existing as a granular powder at room temperature with a melting point of 230°C. It has a water solubility of 5 g/L (25°C), is stable, and non-toxic.L-Aspartic acid has a wide range of applications in medicine, food, and chemical industries.

Feature

L-Aspartate participates in energy metabolism and anti-fatigue, promoting the transfer of reducing equivalents between mitochondria and the interior of the mitochondria through the malate-aspartate shuttle system, optimizing cellular aerobic respiration and ATP production. It can bind with ammonia in the blood to form asparagine, reducing high-ammonia fatigue caused by exercise or metabolism.


It supports nervous system function. As an endogenous agonist of NMDA receptors, it participates in the regulation of synaptic plasticity related to learning and memory. Its metabolites can be converted into glutamate and GABA, affecting the balance between excitatory and inhibitory neurotransmitters.


It promotes liver detoxification and the urea cycle. In the liver, L-aspartate combines with citrulline to form arginine succinate, promoting the urea cycle and accelerating the conversion of ammonia into non-toxic urea for excretion.
