It is brownish-red in color and contains active ingredients such as iridoid glycosides, flavonoids, volatile oils, and anthraquinones.
The main active components of Paederia scandens extract include iridoid glycosides (such as Paederia scandens glycoside, Paederia scandens secondary glycoside, and Paederia scandens glycoside), flavonoids, volatile oils, sterols (such as β-sitosterol and γ-sitosterol), and small amounts of triterpenic acids (such as oleanolic acid) and phenylpropanoids.
