What is Chitosan Hydrochloride?    

Chitosan, a natural biopolymer synthesized from chitin through deacetylation, is an unbranched polysaccharide consisting of a (1→4)-2-acetamido-2-deoxy-D-glucose chain, also known as the "sixth essential element for life." It appears as a white, translucent solid with a pearly luster, no special odor, carries a positive charge, and has low solubility in water but can dissolve in weak acids, such as acetic acid.

Feature

Biocompatibility and Wound Repair: Chitosan promotes fibroblast proliferation and collagen deposition, accelerating wound healing, and its degradation products are non-toxic and harmless. Its network structure can encapsulate drugs or active ingredients, achieving pH-responsive sustained release, with particularly strong stability in the acidic environment of the stomach.


Applications
