Lindera aggregata extract is a plant extract obtained from the dried tuberous roots of Lindera aggregata (Sims) Kosterm., a plant in the Lauraceae family, through processes such as water extraction or alcohol extraction. It mainly contains sesquiterpenes (such as lindera lactone and lindera alcohol), flavonoids, volatile oils, and isoquinoline alkaloids.
Source: The tuberous roots of the traditional Chinese medicine "Lindera aggregata," excluding leaves and stems.
Appearance: Usually a brownish-yellow to brown fine powder (common specifications include 10:1 and 20:1), with a fragrant odor and a slightly bitter and pungent taste.
Key Indicators: High-quality extracts require a lindera lactone (C₁₅H₁₆O₄) content ≥0.030% (based on dried product).
What is Lindera Aggregata?
*Lindera aggregata* (Sims) Kosterm. is an evergreen small tree or shrub belonging to the genus *Lindera* in the family Lauraceae. It can reach up to 5 meters in height; its roots are spindle-shaped, brownish-yellow or brownish-black; young branches are densely covered with yellow silky hairs; the terminal bud is oblong; leaves are ovate, elliptic, or nearly orbicular, with a long acuminate or caudate apex, densely covered with brownish soft hairs on the underside when young; umbels are axillary, with pubescent pedicels, nearly equal-length perianth segments, sparsely pubescent filaments, a urn-shaped staminode covered with short brownish soft hairs, and long, strip-like staminodes; the fruit is ovoid or nearly spherical; flowering occurs from March to April; fruiting from May to November. It was first recorded in the Song Dynasty's *Kaibao Materia Medica*, which describes its roots as "dark brown, shaped like a cartwheel, resembling a mountain," hence the name *Lindera*.
*Lindera* is distributed in Zhejiang, Jiangxi, and Fujian provinces of China, and also in Vietnam and the Philippines. It grows on sunny slopes, valleys, or in sparse forests and thickets at altitudes of 200-1000 meters. It prefers subtropical climates, is highly adaptable, and thrives in sunny, loose, fertile, acidic soil. Propagation is generally by seed.
According to the *Compendium of Materia Medica*, *Lindera strychnifolia* treats "internal qi deficiency, beriberi, hernia, shortness of breath, headache, swelling, wheezing, frequent urination, and leukorrhea." Its roots and leaves have a strong, camphor-like fragrance, making it suitable for potted cultivation and an ideal ornamental plant. Aromatic oils can be extracted from its fruits, roots, and leaves for soap making; the roots and seeds, when ground into powder, can also be used as insecticides.

For some products that require special packaging during transportation, we will carry out more delicate packaging. For example, retinal needs to be stored at -20 °C, so we choose cold chain transportation during transportation; deoxyarbutin will change color during transportation, so we will Vacuum packing of deoxyarbutin
