What is Leucine Bulk Powder?     

     γ-Aminobutyric acid (GABA), also known as 4-aminobutyric acid or aminobutyric acid, has a chemical formula of C₄H₄NO₂, a molecular weight of 103.12, and a CAS number of 56-12-2. It is a white crystalline powder with a melting point of 195-204°C and is readily soluble in water. This substance is a non-protein amino acid, produced by the decarboxylation reaction of glutamic acid, and is the primary inhibitory neurotransmitter in the mammalian central  nervous system.

     GABA reduces neuronal excitability by binding to GABA receptors, regulating brain cell metabolism, shortening sleep onset, and scavenging free radicals. It is clinically used to treat hepatic coma, epilepsy, infantile psychosis, and cerebrovascular disorders. It can be used as a sweetener in the food industry and as a feed additive to improve intestinal function in animals.
