What is Chromium Enriched Yeast?      

      Chromium-enriched yeast is a functional yeast product that converts inorganic chromium into an organic form through bioengineering technology. It is a trivalent chromium nutritional supplement. Using brewer's yeast as a carrier, the yeast concentrates chromium during the fermentation process, forming a complex containing protein, B vitamins, and trace elements. The chromium content can reach 2000-2500 mg/kg, with significantly higher bioavailability than inorganic forms such as chromium chloride.

      With the maturity of bioconversion technology, chromium-enriched yeast has become a mainstream chromium supplement due to its high safety and absorption rate, with a human absorption rate of 10-25%. This product is widely used in the food industry as a nutritional supplement to improve the extensibility of pasta products, enhance the water retention of meat products, and inhibit fat oxidation.
