Opis produktu

Dextrose Monohydrate

What is Dextrose Monohydrate Powder?

D-(+)-D-glucose monohydrate, CAS number 14431-43-7, molecular formula C6H14O7, molecular weight 198.171.This compound is a white, odorless crystalline solid with a density of 1.581 g/cm³, a melting point of 83°C, a boiling point of 527.1°C, and a flash point of 286.7°C. It is readily soluble in water, with a water solubility of 1 M (25°C). It is stable at room temperature and pressure but should be kept away from strong oxidizing agents. Industrially, it is produced by starch hydrolysis, but enzymatic hydrolysis is now more commonly used than the traditional hydrochloric acid hydrolysis method. Its main applications include microbial culture and bioengineering. It should be stored in a cool, dark, and well-ventilated environment.

Hot Sale Food Sweeteners White Powder CAS: 14431-43-7 Dextrose Monohydrate Food Additive D-Glucose Monohydrate 0

Feature

Rapid Energy Supply and Fluid Regulation: Glucose monohydrate can be directly absorbed and utilized by the body without digestion or breakdown, rapidly raising blood sugar levels and providing immediate energy to vital organs such as the brain and muscles. When dissolved in water, it produces isotonic or hypertonic solutions, used in medicine to regulate osmotic pressure and maintain physiological balance.

Food Sweetness and Texture Improvement: As a reducing sugar, its mild sweetness can be used to adjust food flavor while improving the texture and mouthfeel of products. In baking, it participates in the Maillard reaction, providing products with appealing color and unique flavor; in confectionery, it can control crystallization and prevent graininess.

Fermentation and Chemical Reaction Substrate: As an ideal carbon source for microbial fermentation, it is widely used in the fermentation industries of alcohol, antibiotics, and organic acids. In chemical synthesis, it is a basic raw material for the production of various derivative chemical products such as vitamin C, sorbitol, and gluconic acid.

Applications

Pharmaceutical Preparations and Clinical Treatment: As a core component of oral or injectable rehydration salts and nutritional infusions, it is used for the treatment of dehydration, hypoglycemia, and energy replenishment. It is a common filler and flavoring agent in solid dosage forms such as tablets and granules, improving the taste and formability of medicines.

Food Processing and Sports Nutrition: Widely used in candies, pastries, beverages, canned goods, and other foods as a sweetener, hydrating agent, and leavening agent. In sports drinks and energy gels, it serves as a rapid energy source, helping athletes replenish carbohydrates promptly.

Industrial Fermentation and Biomanufacturing: It is the preferred raw material for the production of bulk fermentation products such as ethanol, monosodium glutamate, citric acid, and lactic acid. It serves as a carbon source for the basal culture medium in the cultivation of enzyme preparations, yeast, and other biological products.

Laboratory and Specialized Fields: Used as a biochemical reagent in cell culture and experimental research. In agriculture, it can be used as a raw material for foliar fertilizers or plant nutrient regulators.

Package & Storage
Our packing method is 1KG/Aluminium bags, 25kg/drum

For some products that require special packaging during transportation, we will carry out more delicate packaging. For example, retinal needs to be stored at -20 °C, so we choose cold chain transportation during transportation; deoxyarbutin will change color during transportation, so we will Vacuum packing of deoxyarbutin
